Game 42 Preview: Tampa Bay Lightning @ Edmonton Oilers

The Tampa Bay Lightning, which readily dispatched the Flames on Friday, will seek its sixth-consecutive road victory against the floundering (contrary to this bold in-season prediction) Edmonton Oilers, a club that — after dumping its head coach (Ralph Krueger) after a single season and the chief architect (Steve Tambellini) of the much-heralded but largely underachieving multiyear rebuild — promoted lofty expectations and wishful thinking heading into the season but whose lopsided loss to the Ducks the other night served as the latest humiliation in yet another futile campaign.
